What is 'Assisted Living'. The short and sweet answer is: Assisted Living Homes are for people needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (referred to as ADL's in the Department of Health Services laws and regulations), but still wishing to live as independently as their physical condition will allow. Assisted Living homes are licensed by three different levels of care. This particluar facility is licensed by the State of Arizona, Department of Health Services to provide all levels of are, including directed care for the most severely impaired. This means we are capable of assisting persons with Alzheimers and Dementia dificulties as well as those with physical and/or other cognitive impairments.
